Yolanda was born in the province of Cadiz in the south of Spain, moving to England at an early age. A graduate of The Drama Centre London, she is an Actor, Director and Theatre Practitioner and has enjoyed a long career in Theatre, Television, Film and Radio. Her theatre background includes the RSCS and The Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
In 2003 Yolanda was asked to join the education department as a freelance Globe Education Practitioner and has since had the privilege of working with and directing many students, teachers, actors and directors. She has also been heavily involved with the development of the Globe Education portfolio both nationally and internationally.
In 2006 she developed and led a national training programme for all 260 English consultants for the secondary national strategies on behalf of the DFES (DFE). She is responsible for developing resources and publications for QCDA, Hodder Dynamic Learning and Arden Shakespeare, and still works at many high calibre drama schools. She also runs workshops internationally.
